The level of precision required when micromachining a silicon wafer is intense. Laser Impressions was one of the first companies in the U.S. to laser engrave silicon wafers, and we were the first in Silicon Valley. Our lasers have X/Y/Z stages and rotary indexers integrated to hold positional tolerances of +/- .001″.
